An Update, Crafted with One Hand

You have not heard much from me lately.

We’ll call this one “Selfie with sling”

There’s a reason for that. My right arm is in a sling, and I’m not very good typing with one hand. Especially my left hand.

I won’t bore you with all the medical details, but I’m going to be this way for the next month or so.

Because I can’t do much writing, I’m looking forward to a lot of reading.

I’m very excited to read Y is for Yesterday, the latest from Sue Grafton. I can’t believe that series is almost to the end.  How strange it is that when I started reading it, Kinsey Milhone was older than me and now she’s younger.

Another book on my to-read pile is Girl in Snow by Danya Kukafka.

Do Not Become Alarmed by Maile Meloy is waiting in the queue. My next audiobook is Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders.

Note: I started writing this post with my left hand, then decided to try my Mac’s dictation ability. Results were mixed. (Lincoln Envy Bar…) So watch this space for reviews – but expect a few typos!
