The final fixes on the manuscript are in, and the publication of Not In Time is just a week away. It’s been a long journey for this novel, which I first started writing at my dining room table in Culver City, California. That was six years, two moves and three houses ago.
I find it a little spooky that looted art was back in the news this fall with the discovery in a German apartment of hundreds of works of art that many assumed had been lost forever. World War II may have ended more than 60 years ago, but the story of looted art isn’t over yet.
