Big Day for Big D Book Lovers

Do you live in the Dallas area? Do you love books?

dallasBookFestivalMark your calendar for April 30. That’s the date of the Dallas Book Festival, presented by the Dallas Public Library.

The roster of authors for the festival is really impressive. I read Bryan Stevenson’s Just Mercy in one sitting. Jessica Knoll’s Luckiest Girl Alive was one of the thillers that had me checking the locks on the doors in 2015. Curtis Sittenfeld has been on my must-read list since Prep. And Lawrence Wright’s work demands a whole separate conversation.

Other, less-famous authors appearing at this shindig include, well, me.

The festival takes place at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library downtown, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hope to see you there!
